At Sparta Systems, a Honeywell Company, Business Analyst is a partner of a Product Manager and serves as a Voice of Customer. You are also the Product Owner taking ownership of the building and executing sprints to develop product features with an engineering team. The role includes design, building requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and exceptional product quality. 


• The business analyst is part of the product management team and works collaboratively with business stakeholders, customers, product engineering, sales & marketing team across the globe. 
• Build a robust model of ownership, accountability, and partnership with the product manager to craft product requirements and help build the annual roadmap iteratively. 
• With a high degree of independence, the business analyst should be a subject matter expert and continuously demonstrate analytical skills. Should Challenge Creativity and Curiosity to build the product for the future. 
• Manage relationships with key internal teams/suppliers/delivery partners 
• Identify operational needs, process improvement opportunities, develop and implement solutions in line with business requirements while simplifying the IT (Information Technology) landscape by partnering with the Product Manager. 

• 100% own the identifying, investigating, and problem-solving use cases with stakeholders/Customers. 
• Advise the product manager and engineering team with requirements prioritization to ensure the solution delivery meets/exceeds the customer expectations. Practice an industry standard prioritization framework
• Self-starter to Execute the sprint ceremonies with the SCRUM team by providing input, removing impediments, and simplifying requirements as an iterative process 
• Ability to drive Sprint Planning activities, including Backlog refinement ensuring successful sprints preparation with clear acceptance criteria 
• Lead the product demonstrations with new functionalities as a part of the Sprint Demo ceremony. 
• Analyzes, documents product requirements, and owns the Jira delivery board for effective delivery of sprints. 
• Create product-specific designs and configurations, detailed specifications from the customer’s point of view  
• According to Sparta Systems, a Honeywell Company Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards follows company and departmental policies and procedures and ensures documentation. 
• Works independently with stakeholders and customers to prioritize requirements and is a primary source on complex issues within a clear accountability framework to deliver details. 
• Lead cross-functional system implementation project teams delivering quality solutions with speed and agility while adhering to the software development life cycle (SDLC) documentation, validation, and change management requirements. 
• A team player establishing a relationship with colleagues within various business units (Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, Design, etc.) and is influential in analyzing product requirements guiding solutions in partnership with Product Manager 
• Practice efficient time management and coordinate tasks working in an internationally present distributed team 
• Ability to prepare and execute business meetings virtually, face-to-face, cross-functional, local, global to meet/exceed customer expectations. 
• Experience in communicating effectively to Business, IT organizations, Product Engineering, and leadership on content with context. 


  • 2+ Years of hands-on experience administering and configuring salesforce.
  • 5+ Years of Business Analyst Experience in a SaaS (Software as a Service) product company
  • 5+ Years of experience in delivering Functional specifications, design documentation, business process workflow, and Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) for new product development projects
  • 3+ Years of experience in Customer Interactions role for Product, Services or Analyst


  • Knowledge of workflow management solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate new functionality to business users as part of end of Sprint activities
  • Translating business problems into solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Producing product-specific designs and configuration experience, detailed requirement specifications and use cases.
  • Experience Interacting with Product Managers to understand the customer perspective behind business requirements and enhancement requests.
  • Ability to drive sprint planning activities including story refinement to ensure successful sprints with clear acceptance criteria
  • Experience or Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a global regulated environment
  • Experience or Knowledge of working in Life Science, Pharmaceuticals organization
  • Salesforce Administration Certification is very desirable
