Contract IT Recruiter (IT Development, IT Security, and IT Hardware) (**Job Number:** 2116680 )


Penske Transportation Solutions is currently seeing a Contract IT Recruiter. This role will partner with an existing IT Recruiter in our organization and jointly assist with full life-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, identifying, and selection of top talent, as well as creating a positive candidate experience. This position will focus on Penske's IT function roles, primarily supporting Software Development, Data Services, IT Security, and IT Hardware based roles.

Penske has opened a brand new, state of the art, IT Development office in the West Shore area of Tampa. While we have had great success growing our team, we are looking for a local recruiter who can help us further tap into the Tampa IT community and recruit for our current and future openings. You’ll work in a culture that encourages fresh thinking, collaboration and innovation while leveraging new and emerging technologies. You’ll partner with our leaders and customers to provide innovative solutions that empower them to achieve their business goals and deliver results. This role will require meeting onsite with our management staff at least 2 days in the West Shore development center.

Qualified individuals will have at least 3 years of experience recruiting and hiring for IT exempt level roles and should have a strong network established in the Tampa area. This role will offer a competitive salary and is currently planned for a 6-month assignment. There is potential for contract extensions as well as potential for full-time employment for individuals that demonstrate highly successful results.

**Penske Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for full life cycle recruiting, including direct sourcing, job posting through various media outlets, resume review, and ATS management, including reporting as needed.

+ Maintain effective working relationship with HR and IT leadership to identify staffing needs and requirements; also to ensure appropriate staffing service levels are met.

+ Conduct screening of candidates through resume review, phone, and/or in-person interviews

+ In partnership with HR and IT Leadership, delivers offer packages and sells of the value and benefits of working at Penske.

+ Conduct in-depth intake calls with the hiring team in order to scope hard-to-fill positions and to identify precise responsibilities, qualifications, & build detailed staffing strategies, providing realistic expectations to the hiring team.

+ Effectively administer and coordinate the background screening process.

+ Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.

+ Support Penske's diversity initiatives throughout the recruitment process.

+ Other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

**Penske Qualifications:**

+ 3 years of recruiting experience in niche IT roles- Bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience, required

+ Strong knowledge of various sourcing strategies and techniques, including social media technologies, required.

+ Proficient use of enterprise applicant tracking systems required. Prior experience with Taleo preferred.

+ Organizational skills and the ability to document detailed notes regarding the recruitment process, require

+ Demonstrated internal customer service skills, including troubleshooting and problem-solving experience required.

+ Industry-relevant certification, such as AIRS and SHRM, preferred

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both in-person and through written correspondence and presentations, with candidates, peers, managers, and leadership.

+ Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and keep up with a high volume of activity.

+ Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

+ Ability to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening is required
