Initiative Project Leader

As an Initiative Project Leader working on the Execution and Client Enablement team, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented cross-functional resources who are focused on delivering value for our clients that span new customer setup & solution implementations through ongoing support and account servicing. Our department is seeking a talented, self-directed, and experienced individual who can join our department and help transform and streamline how our team approaches work and delivering value for our customers. Responsible for assessing current state business processes, conducting a thorough data-driven analysis, and determining the best strategic path forward across a portfolio of opportunities to standardize, eliminate waste and improve end-to-end processes. 


Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a thought leader regarding improvements of end-to-end processes across critical client delivery and operational functional areas including implementations, client enablement, solution operations, and other matrixed teams as required.
  • Leads initiatives from assessment through the implementation of solutions and ensures that business controls are put in place to monitor the sustainability of process improvements and automated solutions. 
  • Builds consensus across organizational functional areas, leads root cause analysis, uncovers trends, contributes to solution definition, and determines best practices both internally and externally. 
  • Identifies and resolves tactical and strategic, high-priority organizational and business issues (SWAT team approach.). 
  • Leads the development of new enterprise processes, reporting, IT system changes, business-led automation solutions, and business practices. 
  • Communicates and delivers regular updates on the status of project/opportunity areas to senior leadership team members. 
  • Ensures alignment with other Enterprise initiatives and parallel transformation initiatives. 


Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in an operations environment including 7 years of leading and directing large enterprise-wide projects, conducting structured data analysis with data visualization tools; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel may be required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background and familiarity working with/for a healthcare payer organization or other related healthcare field is preferred.
  • Experience working with coding languages and/or other data analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Alteryx) is preferred 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
  • Utilization of effective communication skills when working with other team members in a professional setting (persuasive written, oral, and presentation skills).
  • Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to review data and make fact-based decisions and/or recommendations.
  • Previous experience working as a management/technology consultant or similar client service role is preferred.
  • MBA and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Annual Salary Range*: $123,480 - 154350

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
