Overview

You will be part of a growing global team of Senior OTD Specialists working collaboratively across Regions and Talent & Development Products. Your role is focused on the design, implementation and delivery of a broad range of talent and development resources with targeted development interventions aimed at ensuring DWS has highly motivated and innovative employees as we transform into a standalone, publicly listed asset manager. You will also act as a Subject Matter Expert for select Talent & Development topics globally and sit on the D&I Working Group to support global D&I initiatives with any talent & development training requirements. Reporting to the Head of OTD, you will play a role in transforming the organization into a growth mindset with a learning culture. You will be collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups such as HR Leadership, Americas Regional Senior Leadership, Internal Communications, external vendors and Deutsche Bank Talent & Development teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake talent needs analysis in consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide advice and guidance to US Region staff around training needs
  • Provide US Regional budget oversight and governance around approvals for regional training requirements
  • Act as talent & development contact for employee-led People Engagement Groups and Employee Networks for advice, guidance, and governance of training & development regional initiatives
  • Act as talent & development contact for global Diversity & Inclusion Working Group providing advice, guidance and support for any needed talent & development initiatives globally and working closely with the Head of DE
  • Manage relationships with key regional vendors/partners and challenge (where appropriate) the prioritization of needs in line with the business's strategy and profile


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in HR, ideally in the Talent & Development space, experience in designing training offerings and talent interventions based on needs analysis
  • Strong knowledge of training methods, talent theory and how to practically use it
  • Commercial outlook, good moderation and presentation skills, strong consulting and relationship management skills, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to execute independently
  • Attention to detail with good follow up skills, familiarity with talent diagnostic tools and assessments; coaching and facilitation experience a plus


How You'll Lead:
  • Interaction with members of the Americas Leadership Council, DWS US Region Head, DWS US Regional COO, DWS US Head of HR, and DWS Head of DE
  • Key relationships with global D&I Working Group, US Employee Inclusion Networks, US People Engagement Group, and NextGen Advisory Group
