Kelly Services is seeking a Financial Analyst with Cost Accounting experience for our Premier Client in Mt Juliet, TN. 
We want someone who is ambitious and wants to grow in experience and responsibility.

This is a direct hire position! 

You will be working Monday- Friday with an 8am-5pm schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•    Provide monthly reporting and analytics for the Industrial Business Unit
•    Assist in closing month, quarter, and annual financial periods
•    Work on teams to simplify business and manufacturing processes
•    Assist operations with annual project and expense budgets
•    Support capital and cost-reduction project tracking
•    Conduct the annual overhead allocation study
•    Review bill of materials for issues or errors
•    Review material, labor and overhead variances
•    Complete cost rolls for new items as needed and annually for existing items
•    Help to ensure the material, labor, and overhead cost of goods sold are accurate
•    Work with local factory leadership to plan and facilitate physical inventories
•    Monitor and report on scrap transactions
•    Track and report on other inventory adjustments
•    Reconcile book to perpetual and book to physical inventories
•    Act as a backup to the Accounting Supervisor in the Cincinnati headquarters
•    Update and send out daily production report
•    Complete journal entries related to inventory, inventory reserves, and cost of goods sold

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•    BS Degree in Accounting, or other comparable business degree, required with 3-7 years accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
•    Should possess a complete understanding of the accounting process and how the income statement and balance sheet interrelate.  Should also possess a basic understanding of the business cycle and how various business processes effect income and balance sheet items 
•    Strong interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels 
•    Must have strong computer skills and the ability to create models for analysis and simulation
•    ERP experience required; INFOR-CSI or SyteLine (our ERP system) would be a plus.
