Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for the Head of Regulatory Affairs with a Biotech startup in RTP, NC. The position can be fully remote with monthly travel onsite. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Report to the CEO and CSO
  • Develop written and visual materials for Regulatory agencies, investor updates, and scientific publications
  • Review various technical documents such as, but not limited to, protocols, scientific documents, publications, and reports to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Articulate complex topics to various cross-functional teams
  • Plan and execute strategies with Regulatory agencies for product-specific and policy issues
  • Use your vast Regulatory network for feedback and advice
  • Mentor junior members on Regulatory policies and help grow the team

You would be a great fit if you meet the following qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Health or Nutrition discipline
  • Must be a Regulatory Subject Matter Expert with 5+ years Food Industry experience
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of novel food product development and product commercialization
  • Must have experience collaborating and negotiating with the FDA
  • Ability to communicate Regulatory requirements to cross-functional teams, domestically and internationally  
  • Highly organized method of filing and tracking projects and documents
  • Above average interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with various cross-functional teams
  • Previous demonstrated leadership ability, given preference

Relocation and visa sponsorship are available! Base salary range will start at $170k plus up to 15% annual merit bonus. Above average benefits include 2 weeks where the company is closed, additional 10 days PTO, 8 company holidays, unlimited sick days, and both paid maternity and caregiver leave.
