Job Description
This Informatics Consultant/Lead position will be a technical lead for the claim integrity / process improvement -reduction work group, responsible for the internal automation and technical processes. The candidate will support the CSRA Technical Team in the design, development, and maintenance of operational management and reporting applications, primarily using the MS-SQL tools. This position is responsible for evaluating department requirements for information reporting based on the QNXT claims processing system configuration build designs as well as the Remedy change management system database structure to determine the logic needed to correctly design and build SQL application tools in support of CSRA management.

Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years experience/knowledge of MS-SQL and SQL Server DBMS
- Knowledge of healthcare business application systems is desired.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to communicate statistical and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
- Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.
- Understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
- Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources

Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience/knowledge of the QNXT claims administration system.
- Project Management – Issue Identification and Analysis
- Proven and effective technical writing skills experience/1-3 years

Education
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
