We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Distribution Business Segment in Wellingborough.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Managing, developing and leading the daily activities of the newly formed upfit production team

+ Manage delivery of upfit program of work. (Engine and packaging modifications to customer requirements)

+ Co-ordinates cross functional requirements to meet demand including quality, engineering, purchasing, compliance and supply chain

+ Responsible for the daily activities of multiple production teams including managing team members, housekeeping and meeting production targets

+ Providing guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; setting expectations and clarifying responsibilities

+ Coaching and mentoring team members

+ Utilising manufacturing tools and techniques to help drive continuous improvement through the team towards operational excellence

+ Identifying training needs; developing and implementing training plans

+ Works with Service Manager to identify opportunities to utilise production tools/techniques across rest of service operations


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ Bachelors/Masters in Engineering or related subject or equivalent relevant experience

+ Experience in manufacturing environment is important – setting up production lines and continuous improvement processes here is ideal

+ Background or exposure to OPEX would be beneficial

+ Previous experience in the automotive or similar industry would be nice to have

+ Experience of team management/leadership

**Compensation and Benefits**

+ Base salary between £47,201-£52,500

+ Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
