The Senior Manager of Enterprise Advanced Analytics will be a key member of the Enterprise Technology Services leadership team charged with engaging our Ryder analytics teams across business units to support current inflight analytics projects as well as future state. Primary goal is to help drive best practices and automation at the production operational level to support our future advancement in the machine learning and AI practices. This includes also being a part of targeted development solutions for teams that do not have this capability and the service would be best solutioned and automated through IT practices.

This leader will be responsible for establishing a team to build and support automation practices for advanced modeling work as a part of IT services to our Ryder business partners and also for providing advanced analytics processing for projects. This deeper understanding of our IT projects and business partners advanced analytics needs will help to enable automated actionable insights that drive business performance and operational imbedded enhancements into operational applications on the front-end.

Additionally, this Sr. Manager must be comfortable at presenting and delivering key findings and processes to all levels of the organization. They must be highly knowledgeable in big data, data management, azure cloud automation, various container technologies and hosting practices. Understanding UI/UX for data delivery to improve effectiveness of utilization and interpretation for presenting findings and imbedding applications with data insights. They must be able to turn large amounts of raw data from multiple sources into actionable insights and strategies that result in value data outputs that assist in the build out and development of key strategic initiatives and projects.

This individual will play a central role in the ongoing development of the production automation infrastructure in the cloud to create a streamlined data pipeline. Finally, the Manager must be adept at working across the organization with key partners in the business units across FMS, SCS, DTS and CSS, including, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Executive Leadership to drive successful outcomes.

**Essential Functions**

+ Lead innovation in both analytical products, productionalized modeling/API and the curation of new data sources to support those models. Lead initiatives to improve data quality, integrity and accessibility for the organization

+ Design and lead innovative enterprise-wide strategic projects driving significant bottom-line impact

+ Provide IT project management for new application implementations and product development

+ Provide analytics and customer and experience insights down to the branch and unit level

+ Deep dive all experiential metrics down to the vehicle and shop interaction level allowing for in-depth performance segmentation

+ Challenge the status quo and lead entrepreneurial innovation in both analytical products and the curation of new data sources

+ Engage leadership and internal stakeholders early in the process to promote a more focused project design, greater operating efficiency, and deliver insights that will have a higher impact

**Skills and Abilities**

+ Must be interested and be capable of learning our business and be able to have non-technical conversations with the business users

+ Candidate must be a highly organized, responsive, reliable, pro-active and a self-starter requiring minimum supervision

+ Candidate must possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills, capable of providing technology briefings as needed

+ Must have the ability to manage support people in a matrix environment, be pro-active with a continuous improvement mindset, motivate and generate results through influence

+ Ability to arrive at conclusions and give recommendations to Senior Management on information obtained

+ A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high-level of quality


+ Bachelor's degree required Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Language/Technology, Statistics or Computer Science

+ Master's degree preferred Business Administration (MBA) or Masters (MS) preferred

+ Eight (8) years or more leading a technical data team and development of data sciences solution designs for automated modeling - working side by side with business at Fortune 500 company or Management Consulting group, required

+ Eight (8) years or more working experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS/other Statistical Packages, required

+ One (1) year or more Minimum of 1 (one) years experience in fleet management and/or logistic transportation and warehouse industry is highly desired preferred
