We are looking for developers with a go-getter attitude and collaboration skills to build a seamless and integrated User experience for customers to manage their services spanning all of Oracle's SaaS Applications and IaaS services. Oracle is the only cloud vendor that competes in both the enterprise applications market SaaS, and the Infrastructure as a Service market.

About You

In this role, you will have a significant technical and business impact in this unique space. You should be someone who cares very deeply about creating usable, useful software and experiences that solves real problems. You should be a solid coder and either a generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack or a specialist in React or other Java Script based frameworks and UI technologies. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. You should have a strong sense of ownership, and be able to drive development of new projects and features to completion.

The qualified candidate will have
  • A BS in Computer Science, or BS in related subject with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards, including REST, SSL and HTTP
  • Hands on experience with Java Development, Debugging, Deployment and Support
  • Understanding of building using Cloud Native Services
  • Experience with Micro Services based architectures
  • Deep Hands on experience with React and other Java Script and JS libraries and frameworks
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
