We are seeking high-energy, creative Enterprise Marketing and ABM pros to join Oracle's new Strategic Client Marketing team in North America. The Strategic Client Marketing team will design and deliver account-focused 1:1 and 1:few marketing initiatives that will educate, create engagement and drive revenue and referencing with Oracle's top 100 accounts in the region.

Position Description:

The Strategic Clients are Oracle's largest accounts, delivering more than 20% of our annual revenue. Together with sales, our team has two primary objectives: to increase customer value, and to showcase our customers' success.

In this role you'll partner with an industry-focused sales leader to understand the most important priorities and opportunities in a small portfolio of Strategic Clients. You'll be the marketing lead for each of these customers, leveraging resources and programs from field and industry marketing, executive programs, customer marketing/referencing, PR and others to create personalized, high value marketing plans that will educate and engage influencers and executives in each account.

Each Strategic Client Marketer will be paired with an industry sales leader, and focused on a portfolio of approximately 8 accounts. Reporting into the Head of Strategic Client Marketing for NA, you'll be supported by a team of your peers, a dedicated SCM Central Programs team, and aligned Executive Programs resources. Your effectiveness will be measured not only through generated, expanded and influenced pipeline but also through account engagement, executive interactions, and the customer testimonials you cultivate.

Responsibilities include:
  • You will be a true business partner to the Strategic Client Sales team, functioning as a single point-of-contact for all things marketing. Own it.
  • Invest the time needed to understand each assigned account and Oracle's priorities there. Listen well, distill priorities, avoid distractions.
  • Build and deliver account-specific plans with an effective mix of marketing programs to support business objectives, combining existing and bespoke assets, campaigns and virtual or in-person events
  • Leverage CVCs, executive programs and sports hospitality activities to create engagement with C-level customer leaders and influencers and speed adoption of Oracle solutions
  • Cultivate customer testimonials
  • Work with Sales to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within Strategic Clients; develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within accounts
  • Clearly understand the sales targets for each assigned account; understand marketing's role in reaching those goals
  • Provide regular updates and scorecards to communicate program impact and identify gaps; participate in business reviews
  • Collaborate with regional and global peers and Central Programs team to capture, communicate and leverage successful programs and best practices
  • Advocate for what you need to accomplish your objectives and meet customer needs
Key Skills
  • 6-10 years of B2B marketing experience with a consistent record of success and achievement of results. Prior targeted ABM/Enterprise Marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience in multiple marketing disciplines including email, events, executive programs and paid digital/social programs.
  • Previous success in Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Business Development, or related sales-aligned/sales-facing role; understand sales cycles and how marketing can align and support
  • Helpful: familiarity with/understanding of Financial Services/Banking industry and the challenges these organizations typically address through technology
  • Outstanding communication skills - verbal, written, and PowerPoint
  • A drive for highest quality outcomes and the ability to articulate goals and to assess and communicate results and ROI
  • Must be comfortable and effective working with and influencing colleagues and customers at all levels, particularly senior executives
  • You should excel at (and enjoy) navigating and collaborating with teammates across a large, complex organization - must play well with others!
  • You'll have a lot on your plate. Successful candidates will have experience working in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing as needed
  • A true self-starter able to leverage others' experience and best practices while building your own network of tools and resources.
  • Familiarity with standard business applications, CRM tools, Folloze or similar (to create customer microsites)
  • Limited travel will likely be required in the future (10%)

Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.

Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience.
