Join us as a Compliance Officer within the Americas Surveillance Team and support the Team’s mission of serving as a robust, independent second line of defense within Chief Risk and Compliance division of Credit Suisse. The Surveillance Officer will be tasked with identifying potential market abuse, client abuse, insider trading, and/or breaches of the bank’s conduct rules and policies, as well as regulatory rules and standards. Responsibilites include, but are not limited to, the following: * Review and analyze daily surveillance alerts for possible violations of law, regulation, firm policies, or other irregularities, raising issues in accordance with our Global Alert Disposition Process. * Partnering with key business partners including Compliance, Front Office and other business groups to investigate and resolve potential issues. * Collaborate with the Surveillance Strategy and Execution Team on the generation of Management Information (MI) (including surveillance issue) for reporting at various governance forums. * Collaborate with Technology and the Global Surveillance Effectiveness team on the design and implementation of new surveillances as well as the refinement of existing ones. * Undertaking project work, as well as participating in regulatory exams and inquiries in conjunction with General Counsel and Global Surveillance Issue Management, as needed. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business partners around the globe The AMER Surveillance Team covers a variety of business including Fixed Income, Futures, Foreign Exchange, Prime Services, Equities, and Equity Derivatives products across Investment Banking, IBCM, and International Wealth Management/Asset Management businesses. *Your future colleagues* The AMER surveillance is part of the Global Surveillance function, with staff located across the globe including Raleigh, London, Wroclaw, and Pune. The AMER Surveillance Team covers both global markets and International Wealth Management across all of the Americas, including the US, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada.
