Job Description

Cloud and Infrastructure Security professionals develop and deliver solutions for organizations to contain and protect valuable company assets within their environment. Create new or develop existing security architecture solutions and implement quality work met with client expectations. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals. Utilizes industry best practices for security, disaster recovery, business continuity, change control. Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach. Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility. Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Our senior managers assist clients with the identification and evaluation of holistic security gaps focusing from an infrastructure and network security perspective. They also anticipate security requirements and identify sound security controls for applications, systems, processes and organizations. Our managers can easily work with non-security teams to integrate security controls on projects.

We are currently searching for senior managers for our Security Cloud and Infrastructure practice with prior experience in the following areas: vast network security knowledge, enterprise-wide firewall deployments and migrations, extensive firewall administration, and in-depth security policy assessments.

Key Responsibilities may include:

+ Lead large-scale firewall deployments and/or migrations with firm timelines

+ Create integrated security solutions involving network firewall products that support client daily operations

+ Develop reports to update management team and clients on project milestones progression

+ Ability to communicate with all levels of clients, follow methodologies, and create/present clear, concise deliverables

+ Demonstrate technical expertise with infrastructure and/or cloud architecture design/implementation and management.

+ Advise team by aiding to troubleshoot and configure networking devices, various platforms, and database, Windows and/or UNIX system administration

+ Build and maintain strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel

+ Report and provide updates client expectations to the engagement team

+ Ability to effectively manage a team remotely now and capability to travel 80-100% once COVID travel restrictions are lifted

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Ability to travel 80-100%

+ 8+ years of designing security architecture solutions for large-scale infrastructure and/or cloud environments

+ 8+ years working with network security and firewall tools conducting deployments, configuration and migrations (Palo Alto Networks products preferred)

+ 5+ years working with intrusion detection systems, remote access VPN technologies, vulnerability assessment tools, event and log analysis solutions and/or configuration and change management systems

+ 5+ years of experience with Windows operating systems and command line tools, network protocols, TCP/IP

+ 5+ years managing teams

+ Understanding of emerging security topics, methods, and frameworks (e.g. Zero Trust, Macro/Micro Segmentation, etc.)

+ Understanding of security compliance frameworks (e.g. PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, SOX, etc.)

Professional Skill Requirements:

+ Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

+ Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Desire to work in an information systems environment

+ Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

+ Excellent leadership and management skills

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $141,000 – $228,100 and information on benefits offered is here.
