Job Description

The Account Manager I develops effective partnerships with facility client administrators/decision makers using a consultative approach to secure new contracts, increase customer share with current accounts, and generate and fill Allied orders - all at a higher production level than Regional Account Managers; ultimately driving growth in revenue and market share.

Job Tasks:
  • Prioritize leads generated from AMIE to prospect and qualify facility clients.
  • Establish and cultivate long-term, effective partnerships with facility clients to gain in-depth knowledge by unit and by contact of their current staffing trends, and future needs.
  • Document and maintain client contact information, situation and activity in AMIE to reengage interest with each call in order to increase the efficiency of the sales cycle.
  • Consult with and educate clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms (i.e. bill rates, other language) with client contacts and prepare new client contracts.
  • Contracts team to achieve divisional profit margin expectations and minimize risk.
  • Probe the client contact for a comprehensive view of the order using the practice description to efficiently qualify potential HPs in terms of skills and fit with environment. Develop strategic partnerships with Allied Recruiters to market your clients and orders as attractive opportunities for HPs.
  • Submit files detailing relevant work history, skills and intangible qualities for each healthcare professionals (HP)
  • Update all internal stakeholders (e.g. Recruiter, QSA) in real time using AMIE placement statuses and tasks in order to deliver most qualified candidate to client on time.
  • Communicate and probe facility client to manage placement details while the HP is on assignment in order to maximize the revenue for each booking, including identifying assignment end, extension opportunities, and negotiating cancellations.
  • Represent a central point of contact between facility client, HP, recruiter, and clinical liaison to effectively manage behavioral or performance challenges caused by the HP while on assignment, and preserve the client relationship.
  • Identify & pursue opportunities during client interactions to introduce new or different allied business solutions, and/or cross-sell solutions with other AMN divisions.
Proactively engage in cross-divisional communication to pass or receive leads which may generate new business.

Education, Certifications & Experience
Minimum Education/Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED certificate required
Preferred Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience:

Achieve mastery in Senior Regional Account Manager role (internal)
2 years client contracting and negotiating in the service industry or recruiting field (external)
