ManTech is seeking a Software Testing and Data Science Engineer to become an integral part of our Combat Integration and Identification Systems Engineering team.  Successful candidates will provide software testing and data analysis in support of IFF Systems Development to our Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) customer at Webster Outlying Field in St. Inigioes, MD. The position is full-time, with some time required on the customer site at Webster Outlying Field.

•Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. • 6+ years of experience supporting testing and data analysis  •Experience writing software test plans and procedures •Experience using Wireshark • Experience with test reporting via JIRA, Excel, etc •Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., JIRA Selenium, Arquillian) • Experience with writing shell scripts •Data analysis skills  •Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well in a mixed team of government personnel and other contractors  •Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow-through  •Excellent attention to detail  •Software development experience  •Agile experience •Secret Clearance

Job Duties:

• Organize and lead a team to identify and complete all Test activities in an Agile environment • Create a test strategy • Create, manage, and execute test plans and procedures • Perform independent research activities to fulfill the needs of the team, such as implementing automated testing infrastructure for software development projects • Create detailed known issue reports for every iteration of software • Perform analysis on all known issues in order to assist software developers with debugging activities • Work directly with management to determine state of software based on analysis of test results  •Create test data   •Organize and analyze data for trends  •Create all necessary documentation, including help documents, testing processes, and another testing-related tasking  • Assist with developing verification and validation criteria for all new features of software  •Maintain working knowledge of current and planned features of software  •Assist with other testing and other project activities as needed.


TRAINING/DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
