This position supports NSP within the Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business in Lockheed Martin Space\.

As the Flight Systems Navy Requirements Lead, you will:

• Define and manage requirements for the Navy missile flight system variant on the Flight Systems Engineering Team

• Develop and maintain Navy requirements for the overall missile specification

• Work with Certified Principal Engineers \(CPEs\) and designers to flow down and ensure compliance of missile requirements to subsystems and components

• Assist in maintaining configuration control of system requirements across all levels including processing of changes through stakeholder reviews

• Support integration efforts within the Flight Systems SEIT team

• Participate in design maturity reviews

Typically has 9\-14 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Math, Physics or other related discipline or equivalent work experience

• Missile or satellite system design, modeling and/or integration experience

• Experience defining and documenting system interfaces

• Experience coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines \(Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Flight Sciences, Materials, Manufacturing, Test, etc\.\)

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, therefore, U\.Z\. Citizenship is required\.

**Desired Skills:**

• Understanding of system behavior and performance, requirement derivation and allocation, and methods to evaluate and document

• Experience with DOORS and Cameo for Model Based Systems Engineering \(MBSE\) including requirements management

• Experience within the Conventional Prompt Strike Programs or other major Weapon Systems

• Prior experience as a Certified Principal Engineer \(CPE\), Responsible Systems Engineer \(RSE\), or related position that involved requirements management and verification for a hardware or software product

• Previous demonstration ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations

• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors

• Active Secret clearance
