The role is primarily to conduct sales & market analysis, intelligence and forecasting to support senior management’s business strategy and decision making in the region for the Aerospace group. This would include and providing regular sales reports/forecasts for the APAC region and support the field sales teams with relevant information.

Key activities would include collecting, compiling and analyzing: market trends & data, competition and customer information, sales performance/analysis against the plan, in order to develop key growth drivers and strategic projects for the business. This includes integrating information from various data systems within Eaton, and generating regular reports for the APAC region and supporting the field sales teams with relevant information.

The position will also be responsible for organizing various tradeshows and events in the region, and ensuring that the marketing communications in region (news releases, social media, literature, merchandise, etc.) are aligned with the corporate branding guidelines.

The key responsibilities include:

+ Deliver weekly and monthly sales reports/forecasts for the APAC region.

+ Work closely with sales team to analyze sales and business progress, and its alignment with the goals.

+ Lead predictive and trend analysis to identify sales and growth opportunities within the region.

+ Participate and lead part of the process for the Profit Plan and Strategic Plan and track the performance of both plans for the APAC region.

+ Organize, consolidate and prepare presentation materials/reports for annual Profit Plan, Strategic Plan and various business review meetings.

+ Accounts Receivables analysis and reporting, and support to the US/European finance team as an escalation contact for regional credit control.

+ Collect market information from various sources and aid in the creation of the marketing vision required for the business strategy development and decision making in the region

+ Conduct competitive analysis to support value- proposition and identify competitive advantages, in order to formulate marketing strategies and sales approaches to target customers and aircraft platforms to gain market share.

+ Develop business cases used to support decisions regarding growth drivers through setup of footprint, joint ventures, or mergers & acquisitions.

+ Work out detailed proposals for building up local capability (through partnership, acquisition, or JV), and implementing accordingly after the approval by the Aerospace senior leadership team.

+ Plan and organize marketing campaigns, together with the sales team, including tradeshows, Techdays, technical seminars, media events, advertisements, etc., to promote Eaton’s name, image, products and brand in the region, as well as assess the effectiveness of these events for continuous improvement.

+ Interact with media, industry associations, and industry pundits, to increase the awareness and recognition of the company and products in the market.

+ Update and translate marketing collaterals/sales material to be used in the region and manage the existing literature print review process.

Qualifications

+ Self-starter, able to proactively seek new information and data sources.

+ Excellent analytical, financial and strategic thinking skills

+ Highly proficient with Microsoft Business Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) for analysis and reporting, and comfortable manipulating large amounts of data in Excel

+ Experience with ERP and CRM systems

+ Effective in a matrix management environment

+ Good knowledge and understanding of the aerospace market and customer base in the APAC region

+ Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written, with ability to make necessary status reports and presentations to Eaton management and customers

+ Ability to think “Out of the Box” and to provide innovative solutions

+ Demonstrated ability to influence the directions and attainment of objectives without having direct control over resources

+ Organisation of conferences and events
