Digital Content Delivery team is responsible for providing Tier3 level of support for the Broadcast Content Delivery solution, Digital Signage, Room Signs and IOT specific solutions.
This position will be responsible to ensure complete deployment and operational support of Room Sign and Digital Signage (Digital workplace devices). The applications include in-house and vendor-hosted end user portals, monitoring of whole infrastructure of Room Sign and all internal Application/IIS and Database cloud-based servers. Digital Signage as well includes vendor hosted portals and Accenture managed SQL servers and data portals. The position will also be responsible for working closely with our vendors and also be the primary contact for any application issues and escalations that arise.
Work outside of normal business hours will be required when high priority application issues come up, also during scheduled maintenances or scheduled upgrades. In addition to maintaining the current application, this position will also be responsible for proposing new functionality and capabilities to Digital Content Delivery leadership to improve application performance.
+ Handle technical issues with respect to the solutions managed
+ Monitor Incident and Change queue and take necessary actions within the defined timelines
+ Coordinate with Cloud and Infrastructure teams for changes
+ Daily health checks for servers, devices, and supported solutions and platforms
+ Work on documentation updates, automations, and service enhancements
+ Get involved in device upgrades on regular basis
+ Maintain the solution secured and compliant with respect to standards
+ Get involved in deployment activities of Digital Signage and Room Sign devices
+ Conduct Operational Readiness Tests and decommissions
+ Provide High value meeting support for Broadcasting events
+ Carry out pre and post regression testing for maintenance upgrades and releases
+ Technical understanding of Windows Operating systems
+ Basic understanding of network and cloud technology
+ Basic understanding of IT operations and software application support
+ Basic understanding of app infrastructure, including web and database application
+ Ability to take poorly defined problem and work towards a resolution, involving necessary resources
+ Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to closely adhere to defined operational processes and technical standards
+ Ability to complete assigned, recurring tasks with limited supervision
+ Ability to maintain high quality work while facing tight deadlines and high pressure situations
+ Detailed-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to understand and work with a culturally diverse team across various geographies
+ Intermediate English language skills.
+ Basic understanding Windows Servers 2012/2016 and SQL administration
+ Knowledge of any process automation/scripting language will be preferred, e.g. Powershell
+ Cloud certifications will be an added advantage
+ Advanced English language skills.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Networking or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years experience with required technical skills in network/server management and troubleshooting.
