This position provides professional legal support in handling commercial litigation matters, including commercial class actions, antitrust recovery matters, real estate and construction litigation, and internal and government investigations.  May also handle or assist with customer foreclosure matters.  Typical legal support includes general file management, data and information collection and management, coordinating discovery responses, coordinating with witnesses and business contacts, and drafting legal and business communication.


  • Assists with day-to-day administration of all claims, lawsuits, litigation, filings, etc.
  • Conducts factual research for discovery purposes, including gathering and managing relevant documents and data
  • Utilizes various software systems for legal hold notices, case administration, and information gathering
  • Interviews witnesses
  • Coordinates with outside counsel and business partners
  • General file/database management - maintain complete and accurate electronic and paper files for all assigned matters 

Position reports to Assistant General Counsel 
No direct reports


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
