This position will provide expert guidance and leadership to the Product Stewardship and Toxicology function. The Principal Toxicologist will provide strategic and technical guidance to business leaders, technology developers and Americas Product Stewardship teams regarding all aspects of toxicology, hazard assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Results driven toxicology leader with a passion to succeed in delivering innovative programs and break-through objectives for the function.  
• Work closely with business and technology leaders to determine toxicology testing needs for product offerings based on businesses objectives, HSE needs, and current or proposed regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership support to product safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Interact with US Regulatory Agencies and Industry Associations to address technical questions related to toxicology, hazard assessment and regulatory compliance.
• Anticipate and communicate emerging regulations that may impact existing product lines or benefit new product introduction.
• Manage toxicology work outsourced to CROs.   Must Have:

• PhD degree in Toxicology or in other relevant discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience managing toxicology or hazard assessment programs.
• Demonstrated global knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, OECD Guidelines, Hazard Assessment models (e.g. QSAR), Exposure Assessment models and various UN Frameworks and Guidelines.
• Demonstrated capability to work within the following regulatory areas: US EPA TSCA/FIFRA , US FDA, EU REACH and REACH-like regulations.
• Excellent leadership, project management and communication skills, with a proven track record of achieving extraordinary results.

• Certified/Registered Toxicologist (DABT, ERT) 
• Experience interpreting results of fluorine chemistry toxicology studies.
• Experience in New Product Introduction.
