Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer III – Digital Engineering to join our team in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop full lifecycle software development solutions from ideation through deployment.
  • Assist in process development, roadmap modifications, and sprint execution.
  • Work hands on to accomplish required tasks and assist others develop skills through expert knowledge.
  • Responsibilities include analyze and review designs and test plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems.
  • Support requirements analysis in Guidance and Navigation systems, control systems, communications systems, digital communication protocol, electrical power distribution, control and transmission devices, signal processing, Instrumentation, electromagnetic compatibility and interference, electrical interfaces, avionics electronics, and Electrical Ground Support Equipment.
  • Fleet Surveillance efforts and pedigree reviews.
  • Provide Systems Engineering expertise relative to launch vehicle ground operations, manufacture, test, and support systems.
  • Develops ground operations requirements and procedures, develops ground operations products, develops integration products and agreements, maintain knowledge of requirements and ICD’s, participate in risk identification and development, support test and integration activities.
  • Provide mentorship to other ManTech employees, as needed, to continue to build teamwork and synergy within our organization and with our Government customer.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or STEM.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a as a systems engineer, technical PM, or other related areas.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative solutions through engineering first principles and leading projects in an agile environment.
  • Experienced full-stack developer with proven results utilizing all of the following: frontend (i.e. JavaScript, CSS, Python, Typescript, REACT, Angular), backend (i.e. Python, C++, Node JS, Go), databases (i.e. MySQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift, CassandraDB), DevOps (CI/CD, AWS or similar cloud infrastructure), and modeling languages (i.e. UML, DoDAF, SysML, UAF).
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft tools including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Information Technology (IT) systems and SharePoint-type databases.
  • Systems engineering fundamentals with respect to requirements and requirements verification
  • Experience working with senior level DoD leadership in a Program Office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, successful collaboration with multiple agencies and personnel, excellent oral and written communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an Active TS SCI Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
