The Director II Compliance is responsible for directing the implementation of the department's initiatives. 


Primary duties with consistent proficiency and expert skill level and tasks with advanced complexity and broad/enterprise scale may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Knowledge of company organizational structure, Business level responsibilities for commercial lines of business.
  • knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing directives within the department and ensuring timely communication.
  • Compare performance to that of other organizations through benchmarking.
  • Directs and leads programs with multiple layers, objectives, tasks, stakeholders, requirements. 
  • Assess and report on program/process effectiveness. 
  • Creates policies, procedures, and tools needed to operate daily function of the program.
  • Manage/oversee/influence resources impacting projects or programs from matrixed organizations under different leadership.
  • Develops and leads strategic plans, makes recommendations to leadership. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 
  • Perform quality oversight of departmental work products/output. 
  • Plan, document, and communicate department work, noting accountable direct reports and deadlines.
  • Collaborates with management to set strategic vision.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 




Basic Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 10 years health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience, including minimum of 5 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Ability to travel may be required. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership/managerial skills and ability to motivate/coach other staff strongly preferred
  • MS/MBA/JD or professional designation

Annual Salary Range*: $120,880 - $151,100

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
