Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Procurement Analyst. This position will be located at our Enterprise Services Sector in Melbourne, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary.

Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.

Compile information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.

Confer with suppliers and analyze suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.

Review proposals, negotiate prices, select and/or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up orders placed, verify delivery, and maintain all necessary records

Basic Qualifications:

Completed their degree (Bachelor’s) from an accredited institution.

Having majored in Procurement/Supply Chain, Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related major

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70 out of 4.0 or higher

Working knowledge with iBUY and SAP applications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including proficiency in MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously

Must be able to work well within a team environment and able to adapt quickly to change or most positions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
