Our Physician Leaders play a vital role at CareMore Aspire. This is an ideal choice for the individual who has the passion, devotion, and desire to impact the lives of the patients and families we serve in our HBPC and I-SNP programs.  You will provide clinical guidance to our NPs and PAs through collaboration.  CareMore has a network of support in our Patient Care Center, which enables us to provide a comprehensive network of clinical and non-clinical support to you.

  • Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for providing Internal Medicine/Family Practice Services to patients.
  • Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients.
  • Educates patients and families on wellness, prevention and early detection.
  • Provides referrals based on examination and patient needs.
  • Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.
  • Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations. Completes medical records (EMR) documentation daily.
  • Covers night calls as needed.

Qualifications

  • Requires an M.D. or D.O.
  • Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
  • Requires board eligibility or board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • DEA license required.
  • For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
