We are looking for aproven SoftwareQuality AssuranceManagerto take on leadership of our device management test team. TheSQA Managerwill work closely with Product Development leaders in an Agile software development environment to oversee the testing of complex integrated solutions involving many products.

Your day to day
  • Build and lead a high-performance software test team comprised of skilled software development engineers and SQA engineers. Includes screening candidates, organizing, and conducting interviews and play a key role in hiring decisions.
  • Regularly track and assess team member performance against group and individual goals.
  • Develop individual team member skillsets and the capabilities of the team as a whole.
  • Analyze requirements and develop highly automated test plans in Test Case Management System. Provide regular detailed test progress and status reports.
  • Track and manage product issues using Jira defect tracking system. Provide regular detailed product quality reports.
  • Work with development and other SQA leaders on strategy, tool and framework selection and automation architecture.

What you bring to the team

  • Proven leader with a minimum 2 years' SQA or software development management experience and previous experience as an SQA or software development engineer.
  • Master's degree, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills - ability to document and visually explain complex processes and systems to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong test automation background - experienced with key test tools such as Jasmine, Appium, TestNG, Junit, PyTest and others.
  • Test script/framework development using Java, Javascript/Typescript, Python or another major programming language.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following qualifications:
  • Desktop application development/testing - Windows, MacOS.
  • Mobile application (Android or IOS) development and/or test automation experience using Appium or other mobile test tools.
  • Report development using PowerBI.
