We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to take on a variety of software quality responsibilities including the development, maintenance and execution of automated tests, test frameworks, specialized tools, and reports. This engineer will work alongside Product Development and SQA professionals in an Agile software development environment.

Your day to day

  • Work in a fast-paced agile development environment to write, debug and deploy automated software frameworks and tests for integrated cloud, desktop and mobile product solutions.
  • Break down complex product integration test scenarios, identify and develop thorough and complete automated test solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting of test results and provide in-depth technical analysis to assist in debugging and improvement of product software.
  • Emphasize clean, re-usable code and best development practices.
What you bring to the team

  • Minimum 4 years' experience working in a software development engineering or SDET position.
  • Master's or Bachelor'sdegree, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Significant professional development experience with multiple programming languages such as Javascript/Typescript, Java, Python, C/C++ or C#.
  • Experience developing and deploying continuous integration or build/process automation jobs in Jenkins, Gitlab or Bamboo.
  • Experience with test automation tools and techniques such as Jasmine, Selenium, Junit, PyTest and others.
  • Proficient with Git and GitLab or GitHub.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical.
  • Ability to work in highly technical and complex environments.
  • Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following qualifications:
  • Desktop application development experience (MacOS or Windows).
  • Development experience with user-interface development frameworks such as Electron, Flutter, Angular, React or Swift.
  • Mobile application (Android or IOS) development and/or test automation experience using Appium or other mobile test tools.
  • Experience with microservice architecture / distributed cloud-based services.
