Field Service Representative (Hong Kong) in GAC Hong Kong
Necessary to read, write and speak English. Multiple languages preferred. Must have ability to legally reside and be employed in Hong Kong without visa sponsorship. EASA License B1/B2 accepted in Lieu of FAA A&P. Five (5) years of related maintenance and repair experience on multiple Gulfstream aircraft model types.

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is the customers primary contact for support from Gulfstream Product Support network for both technical and non-technical situations. The FSR, working with minimal supervision, facilitates an effective resolution to ensure that the customer issues and needs are addressed in a comprehensive, professional and timely manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Under the direction of the FS Supervisor or Operations Manager, ensure all customers in assigned area are visited periodically and issues are addressed and promptly reported. Work with Entry into Service (EIS) to ensure a smooth transition of new aircraft deliveries by supporting EIS briefings and addressing all issues and discrepancies associated with new aircraft operations. 2. Act as primary contact for obtaining support from Gulfstream Product Support network for all customer needs. Provide problem resolution support for all of Gulfstream customers by organizing and managing logistics, resources and vendors to repair aircraft anywhere in the world, on any day and at any time. 3. Provide guidance to customers on complex technical tasks and the proper installation, service, repair, replacement, modification and maintenance of equipment and/or systems which are part of or are used in conjunction with all company products. 4. Provide the customer with updated technical briefings and act as a liaison to ensure that the customer is fully aware of all relevant issues and solutions which pertain to their specific aircraft. 5. Submit Field Service Reports on specific aircraft technical events, troubleshooting actions, operational difficulties and recommended changes to procedures or systems. Submit Abnormal Situation Reports when scheduled passenger trips are impacted due to significant incidents, accidents and operational events. Maintain effective communications through which technical information related to maintenance and operational problems can be quickly relayed to the proper area for correction and resolution. 6. Provide the FS Supervisor or Operations Manager with timely and accurate reports regarding any significant issues, events and changes to assigned area customers.
Additional Functions: 1. Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements: 1. An A and P license and four years of related aircraft experience in addition to the five years combined experience may offset the Bachelors degree. 2. Formal training (Flight Safety International maintenance training or equivalent) on one or more of the Gulfstream model aircraft is highly desirable. 3. Must be able to understand and comprehend technical data in the form of manuals, specifications, drawings, fault isolation schematics and publications. 4. Five years combined experience in any or all of the following areas: (a) Experience maintaining and repairing one or more Gulfstream model aircraft in either a service center or flight operations environment, (b) Experience as a Technical Operations Specialist within Gulfstream Product Support organization, (c) Flight line experience as a technician and/or flight mechanic in a Corporate Flight Operations environment (domestic and International) providing daily maintenance, scheduled or unscheduled AOG support, logistic support integration, (d) Flight Engineer experience supporting unscheduled maintenance, pre and post-flight inspections and routine servicing of complex aircraft in a domestic and/or international arena, (e) Integrated digital avionics and electrical systems maintenance and diagnostics experience is desirable.
