Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology (CSBBT) Employee Journey is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work on internal branch web applications. The candidate will be part of an engineering scrum team and will partner with business/technical product managers, systems architects, and other engineers to develop enhancements to branch applications using Java/Spring/Angular/React related technologies. In addition, this position will play a key role in managing/supporting all technology risk remediation/management activities and also focus on modernization/transformation activities including cloud migration and test automation. The ideal candidate will be energetic and people oriented and have a passion for technology.

They will have demonstrated success in developing distributed applications ensuring high availability and reliability.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate within and across scrum teams to design, test, implement, and support technical solutions for branch web applications.
  • Design, code, test, debug and document using Agile development practices.
  • Write unit test scripts, write functional automation test scripts, test the work of other engineers, and review code.
  • Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met.
  • Ensure effective production systems monitoring, alarming and notification response/maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering and implementation experience
  • 5 + years of J2EE experience
  • 3+ years of UI (User Interface) experience using in one or a combination of the following: Angular, React JS



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of application testing methodologies, tools, and execution
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: design patterns and their application
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
  • 2+ years of Linux experience
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3+ years of Spring experience
  • 5+ years of web applications experience
  • 3+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
  • 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
  • Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience testing using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000
AZ-Chandler: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000
CA-San Leandro: Min: $100,800 Mid: $144,000
