The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. The investments we are making will help the company create innovative digital banking experiences, and make it easier for customers to achieve their financial goals.

The WIM Digital team at Wells Fargo is responsible for the strategy, design, and delivery of the client digital experience within Wealth & Investment Management – from Wells Fargo Advisors and The Private Bank to the next generation of online and mobile investing capabilities.  Our goal is to be known as the best place to digitally access your full wealth picture and gain relevant advice across banking, lending, and investing.  We believe that by harnessing the full power of digital, we can enable every client to take the reins to their financial future, with our advice, education, and tools guiding the way to reach their goals.

WIM Digital has several high impact digital business analyst (Digital Consultant 5) openings. Preference will be given to candidates in Charlotte NC, St. Louis MO, and San Francisco, CA, though other locations and telecommute will be considered.  WIM Digital is at an exciting moment in its history as it is expanding its delivery capacity to close gaps with competitors and to create new and differentiated experiences for our clients.    

We are actively seeking motivated and passionate digital product managers to lead strategic initiatives to develop and deliver great client experiences in the following areas:

  • Intuitive Investor – WIM’s robo-advisory product
  • Advice & Planning: WIM’s digital presentation to our clients of guidance and investing planning
  • Trading – WIM’s self-directed client trading experience
  • Market Data & Research: WIM’s client-facing investment tools, reports, and overall research experience. 
  • Paperless – WIM’s self-serve digital experience, eliminating paper and faxing from the system
  • Onboarding – WIM’s new client experience, from applying, signing, and funding to account setup.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of the digital client strategy in your respective product area. 
  • Guiding your product area’s roadmap and backlog prioritization in partnership with the agile team product owners. 
  • Manage multiple highly visible projects that impact various teams across Wells Fargo
  • Develop business requirements with agile team products owners, analysts, IT, and business partners
  • Work closely with project managers, product owners and third party vendors to keep projects and product development on track
  • Communicate with senior leaders on project status and needs. Clearly set expectations with leadership and meet those expectations.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI design partners to create user-friendly and high-performing digital client experiences
  • Identify opportunities to improve the client’s digital experience by through customer research, feedback from Voice of Customer sources, user testing, and competitive intelligence

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting

  • Knowledge and understanding of brokerage industry: products, services, operational policies, and procedures
  • Product strategy development experience

  • Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex customer issues
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Agile experience
  • Strong negotiation and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

  • Experience building and implementing digital and mobile services

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $126,000 Mid: $180,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000
MO-Saint Louis: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000
