Job Profile

Position OverviewSolebury Trout requires an Analyst to join its corporate communications practice. The Analyst will support the corporate communications team with developing and executing strategic plans, drafting press and thought leadership materials, conducting media outreach, monitoring media and social conversation and managing projects.
Role / Responsibilities:
* Monitor and summarize media stories and social conversation trends
* Research and maintain media and influencer lists and conduct outreach
* Provide first drafts of communications materials including press releases, by-lined articles, key messages
* Assist in development and management of communications strategies, plans and activities
* Create presentations for clients and prospective clients
* Organize logistics for press events, analyst days, reporter meetings, etc.
Requirements for this position:
* B.A. degree, ideally with course work in public relations, marketing or journalism
* High energy, self-starting, hard worker
* Strong writing with careful attention to detail / an excellent proofreader
* Analytical thinker with impeccable judgment
* Top-notch computer skills - including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, presentation creation, database management, etc
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Experience using PR distribution and research tools a plus
* Potential for travel to client meetings, conferences and events

Job Description

  • Supports senior members of the communications team on the development and execution of communications plans. Provides media and influencer identification, monitoring and outreach.
  • Under supervision, plans, researches, and develops communications content.
  • Under supervision, provides support to the organization on all aspects of plan development and execution.
  • Conducts media outreach and monitoring. Assists with communication events, initiatives, or presentations.
  • Possesses attributes of creativity, flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness. Has a solution-oriented mindset and thinks strategically.
