An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Market Development Manager (MDM), Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in the Fluorine Products group. Reporting to the Global Business Director in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration market MDM is responsible for developing, supporting, managing and directing the conversion growth strategy in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Market. At Honeywell, the MDM owns the NPI, strategy and promotional efforts in a market segment. The role will be a key enabler by leading the adoption of Low Global Warming Potential (LGWP) refrigerant solutions by our customers. In this role, you will connect with many stakeholders (business, sales, technical services, legal, marketing, breakthrough initiative counter partners, etc.) to ensure value for our customer, internal alignment and profitable business growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, R&D, field sales, other industry OEMs, key business partners and the leadership team to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization's product portfolio.

We develop, manufacture, and supply economical and non-ozone-depleting hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants, and low-global-warming-potential hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerants, for automotive, home, commercial and transportation uses.

Key Responsibilities:
Global conversion strategy development and execution for multiple product lines of our new LGWP offerings.

Participate in customer discussions for assigned opportunities to gain an understanding of customer drivers.  Use the combination of your technical skills and customer understanding to develop innovative solutions to address customer needs and objectives.
Drive the technical execution of assigned opportunities through development of value propositions and the business case for specific opportunities including technical evaluations, technical input on strategy for sales events, technical solutions, preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations in customer meetings resulting in successful sales.
Reflect and share learnings from every engagement with other team members to ensure improved strategies across the globe in all future opportunities. Contribute to the global team by looking for opportunities and making suggestions to improve our internal tools and processes so we can become our best.

Works with end use customers, supporting equipment manufacturers, industry thought leaders, R&D, legal, sales and senior leadership to drive growth programs.
Work with regional teams to assimilate a global view of supply, demand and competitor benchmarking.
Conducts analytics to support pricing; Supports development and/or implementation of pricing policies; develop pricing value walks and channel margin analysis.
Support segment growth by interacting with internal regulatory group and external regulatory agencies. 

You Must Have:
Undergraduate degree in an analytical or technical discipline
Minimum 2 years hand-on experience in a project or product management role

2+ YEARS Air conditioning and refrigeration experience
