Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team.

Senior Architect/Full Stack Java Developer required with experience with Java Spring Boot.

The candidate must be proficient in React.

The candidate will work in an agile team in an AWS environment. 

Candidate must be US citizen and ability to get USCIS 6c Public Trust clearance.

Functional Responsibility:

Duties include designing the overall system architecture to meet business requirements.  As Senior Solution Architect additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:


Create architecture solutions which align with overall project objectives and requirements through project assessments and gap-analysis of existing versus required capabilities.
· Conducts project evaluations to identify possible software, hardware and system architecture solutions which can be used toward fulfilling project objectives.
· Utilizes current technical trends for up-to-date architect solutions and actively researches emerging technologies to support proof-of-concept (POC) capabilities and identify future solutions for assigned projects.  
· Identifies hardware and software architectural needs.
· Produces necessary architecture design documents during the entire course of the project.
· Works with software, network, and system engineers to propose technical architecture based on analysis of project requirements and/or new technologies.
· May have knowledge and experience in implementing and modifying specialized off the shelf tools (i.e., COTS, GOTS, Open Source, etc.) that are highly configurable and allow customization without the need for custom software development.
· Interfaces with customer technical staff to present architectural concepts and propose architectural solutions.
· Leads development team during architectural concept and solution conversations.
· Supports the development team throughout the software development process with trouble shooting complex architectural and design concerns.
· Defines and manages architecture models, frameworks, and artifacts throughout the course of the project.
· May lead and manage less experienced Solution Architects.  

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 7+ years experience supporting the delivery of technology solutions, with a minimum of 2 years of experience performing design and architecture of systems.

Documented Technical Leadership
DevOps experience
Documented experience in most or all of the technologies listed
Ability to Lead Development Efforts or work autonomously
Ability to mentor Developers in most or all of the technologies listed
Demonstrated vision and experience leading open source microservices development efforts
