The Manager, Online Analytics - Testing is responsible for managing the A/B testing and user testing strategies for the Category Experience team. This individual is responsible for driving effective intake and prioritization of testing requests across multiple stakeholders to ensure a cohesive roadmap that furthers strategic objectives. This individual leverages expertise in testing methodology and platforms to inform test design and implementation. This individual partners with the development team to ensure timely execution of tests and effective communication of results. This individual is responsible for driving dissemination of learnings to inform online experience strategies. This individual develops a process for leveraging user testing platform at scale to develop deeper understanding of customer behavior.

  • 30% Manages the execution of complex special programs that typically involve business to business customers and internal functions.
  • 20% Creates and implements processes to optimize the efficiency of product data collection. Enrolls internal functions and external partners in the development of work flow procedures and the ongoing monitoring and improvement of those procedures.
  • 10% Collaborates with internal (marketing, merchandising, IT) and external (agencies, 3rd party vendors, Big Hammer, Escalate, Commerce Hub, Merchandise Suppliers) customers to develop processes and programs to drive timely execution of product data collection for; utilizes workload management to communicate with the merchants.
  • 10% Responsible for external resource management. Manages outside vendors to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manages projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals.

Reports to Senior Manager, Enablement
Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with A/B and user testing
  • Experience querying and mining large relational and unstructured transactional/clickstream data in SQL
  • Server, Teradata, BigQuery or DB2 systems
  • Experience with THD enterprise architecture
  • Experience conceptualizing, developing and deploying innovative analytical solutions in production  environment: architect solutions to streamline and automate reports; develop complex stored procedures, macros or routines in SQL Server, BigQuery or Teradata; aggregate data from disparate/cross-functional data sources; design and develop dashboards using advanced visualization techniques; distribute reports using Tableau or Microstrategy
  • Experience identifying key data insights through traditional analytical tools (Excel, Tableau) or advanced statistical modeling techniques using SAS, R or similar tools

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Well-developed presentation skills (oral and written) computer skills required, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to approach problems systematically, researching all alternatives and making appropriate recommendations
  • Ability to be deadline oriented with long and short-term projects
