A Boeing team, developing the latest connectivity platform for commercial aviation fleets, is looking for an Associate software engineer- Full Stack Application Development (JAVA)


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions that are scalable, maintainable and testable, using coding standards and best practices outlined in the project
  • Understand requirement, conduct Design discussion and document design decisions
  • Conduct interface discussions and create API documentation for use in the development of software solutions
  • Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.
  • Develops algorithms, data and process models for use in construction of solutions

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in object-oriented programming using Java
  • Knowledge and ease in using J2EEto develop applications and fluency in creating and using REST services
  • Strong knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge UI scripts and markup languages – HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Angular 8 and above
  • Experience in developing Cloud native and Hybrid applications - Azure
  • Knowledge of containerization - Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI CD pipeline and technologies
  • Comfortable at using git for coder repository management, concurrent development and integration
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management with ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Good understanding of Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
  • Working exposure with Agile (Scrum ) is a must

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  •  Experience in Aerospace domain

Typical Education & Experience: 

  • Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 to 5 years of related work experience.

A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
