BusPatrol is a Safety Technology company. Our core mission is to improve the lives of students everywhere as the leading international provider for school bus stop arm enforcement.

BusPatrol’s technology has been deployed onto more buses and has been used to issue more school bus stop arm citations than any other company in the world. Our proprietary technology turns school buses into Smart Buses equipped with video, GPS, telemetry, data processing, and archiving. In this way, we enable counties and school districts to enhance the safety of children in their communities.

 

General Summary: 

The Implementation Project Manager is the first step in building relationships with local officials, law enforcement and courts to facilitate BusPatrol’s school bus camera operations and enforcement.  The ideal candidate has advanced project management skills, strong written and verbal communication ability, excellent time management, and a customer-first orientation. The ideal candidate operates autonomously, builds trusts, and consistently delivers results.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • The implementation team works primarily with our external partners, including law enforcement, finance and courts to integrate our program to their day-to-day activities
  • Lead successful implementations, meeting timelines and contractual obligations
  • Identify, engage with all relevant stakeholders, and get buy ins
  • Internal coordination with operations, marketing, IT, finance
  • Define the scope of work, identify scope creep
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan
  • Risks analysis and management
  • Coordinate, prioritize and organize program tasks across all internal and external stakeholders
  • Be an advocate for your customers
  • Produce high-quality documentation and report to company management
  • Make recommendations and develop creative solutions to eliminate roadblocks
  • Continuously improve the tools and techniques to improve delivery and customer satisfaction

 

 

 

Education & experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; PMP preferred
  • 5+ years as a project manager in a technology, service or manufacturing related industry
  • Experience overseeing multiple complex projects on tight timelines
  • Experience motivating people to achieve a common goal
  • Experience managing communications to various audiences on various medium platforms (e.g., emails, presentations, reports, etc.)
  • Experience using project management tools, preferably Wrike and/or Confluence
  • Customer deployment experience managing full development lifecycle; operations expertise a plus
  • Mature, successful collaborator with good judgment, influencing skills, and capable of earning trust across a variety of diverse teams
  • Solid organizational leader with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
  • Proactive communicator with outstanding written, verbal and presentations skills
  • Positive influencer that leads through frequent ambiguity/uncertainty/change
  • Organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and work in autonomy, flexible
  • Get the work done mentality

  • Ability to speak and read French is a plus (for Canadian based positions)
