Job Description
As a CVS Specialty Pharmacy, Apothecary by Design (ABD) operates in the heart of Portland, Maine.

We are seeking a full time pharmacist who will support patients with complex specialty disease states such as Hep-C, HIV, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn's Disease, Oncology and Transplant.

As an ABD/CVS Specialty pharmacist, you will have the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals at a dual-accredited specialty pharmacy, while providing leadership and guidance to the team.
The pharmacist will lead the team in daily activities pertaining to clinical, dispensing and shipment logistical activities. They ensure these activities are performed to CVS Health standards, Accreditation standards, SOP and regulatory constraints.
Daily responsibilities include patient clinical management, dispensing/verification of medication orders, building partnerships with manufacturers, sales team members and a commitment to help grow and retain business.

Required Qualifications
*Proven ability to work in teams, bringing a positive attitude and energy to work every day
*Proactive approach to learning new procedures and clinical information, and willingness to assist on any team within the pharmacy to ensure high-quality pharmacy care is provided
*Pharmacist license for state of ME in good standing
*Proven experience providing exceptional customer service ensuring that both medical professionals and patients are responded to with accurate and timely information
*Proven strong problem analysis and decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications
*Previous experience in specialty pharmacy
*Previous experience with URAC and ACHC accreditations

Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D
