Requirements:  The candidate that we seek is motivated, proactive, and personable, with the ability to respond positively to the challenges of a dynamic work environment.  The ability to quickly understand and size up opportunities and/or problems and respond with creative, innovative ideas and solutions is necessary.  

 

  • 2-year degree or equivalent work related experience.  
  • 4-years of successful experience in a fast paced, customer service sales environment required.  
  • Position may require minimal local travel.
  • Detail-oriented, articulate, and a passion for customer service and desire to help Bureau Veritas exceed our customers’ expectations.  
  • Knowledge of LIMS applications and laboratory work flow processes.  
  • Candidate must have strong problem solving skills, written, verbal, and electronic communication skills, and excellent presentation and listening skills.  

 

Description:  The Customer Service position involves challenging front-line interaction with customers and lab personnel via telephone and e-mail.  A typical day involves a lot of problem solving, creative thinking, and teamwork.  Will seek to offer and provide a service that exceeds all expectations and contribute significantly to this goal by handling daily business-to-business e-mail and phone correspondence with both internal and external customers and new prospects customers. 


 
Responsibilities:  Providing prompt and efficient service, product recommendation and support to Bureau Veritas, existing customers, new customer, private label programs, corporate national accounts, and high profile key accounts.  Manage escalations of complex problems from current customers, new and existing account outreach and initiatives. Identifies, evaluate, and reports technical and / or operational problems.  Utilizes great time management of workflow effectively.  

 

Teamwork:  Contributes to a positive attitude, good attendance, proactively aids teammates, demonstrate effective communications and cooperation with others.
