Kelly is actively recruiting for a Direct Hire – Project Manager in the Houston, TX. Experience in ISO Standards like medical device or pharmaceutical industries are highly desired.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager will plan, oversee, and lead projects from ideation to completion. The Project Manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed. This individual will coordinate with all teams to ensure all aspects of each project meet set deadlines.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage project progress and adapt work as required

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously to manage and minimize risks

• Perform quality control on projects throughout to ensure projects meet deadlines

• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned on the same project

• Work and manage relationships with stakeholders distributed geographically in multiple countries and time zones

• Report and escalate relevant issues to management

• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement to optimize / improve processes and overall approach, where necessary

• Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff

• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

• Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 5+ years’ of project management experience

• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

• ISO standards experience

• Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years’ experience at a pharmaceutical or medical device company

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• Proven ability to solve problems creatively

• Ability to make important decisions under pressure

• Friendly and approachable

• Attention to details

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and working with Quality Management Systems

• Experience managing manufacturing processes/projects
