Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for developing environmental pollutant models based on fab chemical usage, tool recipes, process flow, and actual field testing for Intel's 300mm semiconductor factory network.

You will also be responsible for providing forecasting of environmental pollutant models for waste systems, wastewater and exhaust systems for Intel Logic fabs to support technology transfer facilities planning. 

In this role, you will use data mining and data analysis to integrate test data with fab chemical usage to create model as well as validate model for forecasting and compliance reporting purpose.

Duties likely to include the following:

  • Review and assign exhaust/drains connection during tool design.

  • Participate in tool and abatement selection to provide environmental input

  • Provide technical support for fab chemical selection review

  • Perform liquid testing from tool waste drain (using LCMS, IC and various handheld analyzers)

  • Perform air emission testing from tool exhaust or/and tool abatement (using FTIR, mass spec, FCS etc)

  • Track process change and update/create environmental pollutant model through data mining and collaborating with various customers

  • Support EHS for compliance report to local regulatory

  • Perform data analysis and improve model database

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements:

  • You must possess a Masters in Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Environmental engineering or equivalent field and 1+ year of experience working with process equipment

  • You must possess a Bachelor's in Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Environmental engineering or equivalent field with + 3 years of process equipment experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • +6 months of experience with Excel

  • +6 months of experience with data analysis/mining skills, (SQLpathfinder, JMP)
