This position is an exciting opportunity and will provide invaluable work experience in a growing company. We have multiple opportunities in the field of engineering available at several of our US Nitrogen and Phosphate locations.

This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

  • Start Dates: May 2022
  • Length of Terms: 4 months

What you will do:
  • Assist the Department with various duties, including:
    • Supporting various engineering projects in the fields of power, automation/controls, and telecommunications
    • Maintenance support including creating/modifying electrical prints, programming ladder logic or function block, and in-field troubleshooting of electrical/control equipment
    • Conduct research to assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives
    • Survey the settings in the circuit breakers
    • Develop project estimates for potential new projects
    • Develop engineering specifications for electrical projects
    • Work with electricians and contractors on large projects that are in progress at the site
What you will bring:
  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree program
  • Interested in Electrical or Process Control discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
