As our Americas GFX Valuations & Stress Testing Lead, you will manage a set of diverse and impactful processes and methodologies aligned to the global FX businesses including FX Options, Commodities and FX Cash. This senior position within the Valuations team includes business partnering with the trading desks in North and South America as well as oversight of the FX processes in Poland which provides valuation services to the global business. This role also involves the US CCAR/GMS 14A/14Q production representing Valuations & Analytics (V&A) team for the GFX related products within Markets and Securities Services (MSS). Finally, the role includes modeling and model governance related aspects for GFX products.

You will be responsible for:
  • Performing a review of the IPV/FVA and risk factor completeness exercise on quarterly basis.
  • Ensuring Americas V&A processes follow global control framework as well as local regulatory directives.
  • Being the primary defender of V&A process production results vs Business, Internal and External Audit, CAO, Traded Risk.
  • Providing valuation expertise to internal collateral management and client valuations teams on all matters related to GFX products.
  • Being the single point of contact for all V&A related issues for Canada, Mexico, LAM and US. Participate in global reviews of valuation methodologies, vendor pricing reviews, Valuation Control and Valuation committees.
  • Helping to lead global process and methodology improvements in the Fixed Income space by supporting the Global FX, EM Rates and Commodities V&A product leads.
  • Working with the Business on model and valuation deficiencies and where needed, implement the appropriate FVAs accurate reflection of fair value.
  • Leading the US CCAR/GMS 14A/14Q production representing V&A team for FX products within MSS.
  • Leading V&A reviews related to New Product Due Diligence for the GFX products.
  • Chairing product specific Valuation Committee which will feed into the US Valuation Committee.
  • Modeling governance and development ownership for all FX related FVA/IPV/PVA models related to the Americas. Involvement with the Global FX Valuations management team to ensure Americas sites are aligned to global models and processes.


Qualifications

  • Must be an effective communicator (written and verbal) and a proven track record in top-tier global bank.
  • Must have experience of FX Models and Derivatives Valuation Framework
  • Must have experience developing methodology and crafting policy for IPV / FVAs is a distinct advantage.
  • Must understand Funding, Liquidity and Capital requirements for Global Markets and understanding of accounting requirements for Valuation activity in Global Markets.
  • Must understand and appreciation of Regulatory requirements and guidelines for Valuation activity.
  • Must have experience interacting with internal and external stakeholder groups (Business, Risk, Internal and External Audit).
  • Must posess at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Math, Physics, Chemistry, etc)
  • Must have knowledge of Product Control processes and experience managing Product Control or Financial Process based activities.
