Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for the finance function of Hillman’s U.S. industrial businesses.The Finance Manger will partner with the leaders of the industrial businesses and support them with a broad range of financial planning, analysis, and management.The Finance Manager ensures the accuracy and integrity of the financial results and is responsible for the finance activities including: preparing budgets and forecasts; modeling financial impact of business plans, performing financial reporting and analysis; overseeing the general ledger accounting, cash receipts, and accounts payable; maintaining sound financial policies and procedures; and providing audit support as necessary.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

1.Partnering with the business

  • Advise the business on ways to improve financial performance and participate in key decision making
  • Effectively communicate the drivers of financial results and trends to the business leaders
  • Prepare financial justification for capital and other project requests

2.Financial reporting and analysis

  • Manage the financial close process and adhere to reporting timelines
  • Analyze financial results and trends
  • Effectively communicate results to the business with value added insight
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
