Overview

The Corporate Bank (CB) combines Deutsche Bank's Corporate Finance, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the Bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation. GTB is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance, and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.

As an integral part of the Corporate Bank front office, the client lifecycle management team manages know your client (KYC) and KYC related regulatory activities for our correspondent banking clients end to end - both for the cash and the trade business.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze ongoing changes to anti-money laundering (AML)/KYC policies and assess impact on institutional cash management and trade finance for financial institutions
  • Define corresponding key operating procedure in conjunction with the global anti-financial crime (AFC) group and applicable policy groups
  • Develop and maintain AML/KYC related operating procedures for institutional cash management and trade finance for financial institutions while ensuring alignment to institutional and group policies
  • Present proposals for changes to operating standards in the cross functional working group tasked with validating the standards
  • Provide subject matter expertise support to institutional cash management and trade finance for financial institutions staff on policy and procedure
  • Establishes and maintains close partnership with AFC, policy groups, control, KYC officers, ACOs and other KYC linked functions globally


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Recognized university degree and/or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous experience with policies/procedures maintenance and knowledge of correspondent banking due diligence standards preferred
  • Good knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and AML risk implications; experience with regulatory and/or KYC related topics
  • Command of MS Office applications and general computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues at all levels of seniority and maintain relationships across functions and locations
