Job Description
This is a full-time telework role open to candidates located and licensed in Louisiana.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, standard business hours, with flexibility for occasional weekend work required, as needed.

- Reinforces clinical philosophy, programs, policies and procedures.
- Communicates strategic plan and specific tactics to meet plan.
- Ensures implementation of initiatives and programs to meet strategic direction for cost and quality outcomes.
- Creates direction and communicates a business case for change by focusing on and addressing key priorities to achieve business results.
- Identifies opportunities to implement best practice approaches and introduce innovations to better improve outcomes.
- Accountable for meeting the financial, operational and quality objectives of the unit.
- Will be accountable for the day-to-day management of teams for appropriate implementation and adherence with established practices, policies and procedures.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff using clearly defined requirements in terms of education, experience, technical and performance skills.
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to serve as a model change agent and lead change efforts.
- Accountable for maintaining compliance with policies and procedures and implements them at the employee level.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement, and focuses on interventions to improve outcomes.

This is an Exempt position.

Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) required - an individual who is licensed in the state of Louisiana to diagnose and treat mental illness or substance disorder acting within the scope of all applicable state laws and their professional license. A LMPH includes individuals licensed to practice independently as:

• Medical Psychologists
• Licensed Psychologists
• LCSWs
• LPCs
• LMFTs
• LACs
• Advance Practice RN (must be a nurse practitioner specialist in Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health, and Family Psychiatric & Mental Health or a Certified Nurse Specialists in Psycho social, Gerontological Psychiatric Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health, and Child-Adolescent Mental Health and may practice to the extent that services are within the APRN’s scope of practice

- 5+ years of clinical experience
- 2+ years of utilization management experience
- 2+ years of healthcare management experience required, in a managed care setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare management experience, in a managed care setting preferred

Education
Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or behavioral health field required, including Registered Nurse with behavioral health experience.
