We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.

Department Overview

The Supply Chain Management team is within Corporate Services department and is primarily responsible for contract negotiation and procurement of goods and services

About the Role

You will work as part of the Sourcing Team to support the negotiation and review of contracts and other legal documents. You will interact closely with multiples lines of business.


  • Develops Strategic Sourcing strategies and leads contract negotiations for high risk products and/or services.
  • Well versed with contract principles and drafts non-standard contract terms and conditions.
  • Review, draft and negotiate Master Agreements, high dollar high complex Statement of Works, Change Orders, Amendments and similar contracts
  • Safeguard Wells Fargo by mitigating risks and obligations identified in vendor contracts
  • Develop hypotheses for sourcing strategies using market intelligence, benchmarking data and input from the customers and suppliers.
  • Be a category expert
  • Accountable for category savings, and supplier performance measures.
  • Researches and analyzes contract data, business goals and market conditions and proactively identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Analyze commitments and indications of financial responsibility and analyze the most advantageous offer
  • Acts as the primary liaison for current and potential suppliers for low to medium risk/dollar spend
  • Identifies and escalates risk-related issues, identifies alternative options/solutions.
  • Works with key stakeholders to determine the long-term needs and applicable supply/service market strategies.
  • Partners with business groups to issue/evaluate RFx opportunities and conduct reverse auctions.
  • Establishes supplier evaluation/selection criteria and coordinates supplier due diligence activities.
  • Guide team members on industry benchmarking and category trends
  • Monitors to comply all internal policies pertaining to contracts
  • Monitor to ensure contracts all contracts clearly specify the right and responsibilities of each party
  • Monitors compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as data protection including customer supervisory information (CSI), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) to protect customer personal information, etc.
  • Train and/or lead experienced members of the team.
  • Conduct Quality Check on master agreements and pursuant contracts

Essential Qualifications

  • Legal (LLB) graduate or any other graduate
  • Experience of 9 to 11 years in Contract negotiations
  • Knowledge in supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
Fluency in English and at least one regional language.
