Our small, but mighty team leads our operational reporting program that's dedicated to the continuous improvement of Transmission's operations through incident reporting. We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teammate to help support this aspect of our work. Our team utilizes proven event analysis techniques to establish root causes and communicate lessons learned that aid in our team's goal to learn, improve and prevent. This role is also responsible for crafting, developing and presenting program metrics and reporting trends to multiple levels of learning partners.

The Team
LCRA's Transmission Learning & Development Department believes that through learning, we can improve our operations and prevent significant events. This position is dedicated to this mission and will align to our culture of constant and never-ending improvement through an established operational reporting framework designed for success.

You will be trusted to:

• Supports and manages various aspects of our Operational Reporting Program which includes leading learning teams and root cause analysis sessions specific to operational incidents and operational near misses (not safety)
• Collects and analyses operational reporting data to provide an accurate analysis of events and trends including contributing factors and primary causes
• Interacts with departmental management to ensure the accurate development of corrective actions including the communication of lessons learned
• Manages the administration of our operational reporting tool/database, including the creation and distribution of departmental reports and analyses
• Serve as a subject matter expert for our reporting program and is responsible for training others on the use of the tool and proper reporting procedures
• Supports all Operational Learning Programs (Operational Reporting, Continuous Improvement Program and our Human Performance Improvement Training)

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years' experience in capital planning, decision-making modeling, operations and maintenance planning, financial management, project management and strategic business support.
- A degree(s) in business, economics, engineering, finance, math, science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

LCRA has deep roots in Texas, dating as far back as the Great Depression of the 1930s. We built the chain of dams that tamed the Colorado River and brought power to rural Central Texas for the first time.
