Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

This Business Systems Consultant is part of the Commercial Bank Pricing & Profitability area that will be considered a critical subject matter expert in all areas associated with OBIEE reporting in support of end users. Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems (specifically through the creation of custom OBIEE reporting and dashboards). Leveraging the OBIEE Analysis solution, provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes associated with OBIEE Analysis usage. Prepares specifications for system changes associated with custom reports and dashboards. May develop systems test plan components and test scripts. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.

Additionally this individual will be responsible for:

  • Performing OBIEE report and web catalog migrations
  • Understanding Dimensional Models to Support BI implementation
  • Performing end to end data validation
  • Coordinating regular interactions with the business teams for upcoming work efforts
  • Using SQL regularly and help improve existing backend querying processes

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) experience
  • Experience creating dashboards and reporting formats
  • Ability to consult with business partners to define key performance metrics, dashboards or scorecards
  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
  • Experience using SQL within a variety of database sources such as SAS, Oracle, or Teradata
  • Experience meeting high production and quality standards in a fast paced, development and production support environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important





Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
