The eCommerce Sales Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of integrated sales and capability strategies for the eCommerce team and achieving the defined growth. This role will be responsible for supporting the rapidly growing and strategically important eConvenience channel focusing on instant needs/on-demand customers across the Total PepsiCo F&B portfolio.

The role has several distinct responsibilities and priorities:
  • Day to day ownership and & supporting execution of the PepsiCo business on a top eConvenience customer including customer call ownership
  • Develop a process and support the execution of market & assortment expansion
  • Ability to present innovation and key product opportunities evidenced through successful sell-in to the customers
  • Marketing and promotional plan development and execution in conjunction with the eCommerce Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain teams
  • Weekly communication and planning with cross-functional teams regarding key business updates including new business/customer updates, new assortment additions, marketing & promotional activity, market expansion updates, etc.
  • Responsible for on-going updates/development of financial & supply chain forecasting across all BUs
  • Leading weekly customer calls focused on strategic & executional priorities
  • Introduction and maintenance of new products, including coordination with marketing/brand teams and supply chain (e.g., sourcing strategy)
  • Support the execution of the 2021 annual plan & support the development for 2022+ Annual Plans, JBPs, etc.
  • Develop & execute an overall reporting strategy across all key metrics important to driving the business including Sales, Category/Share, Supply Chain: inventory, OOS, etc., Location level financial & Supply Chain reporting, Post Promotional Analyses, etc.
  • Sales reporting, analysis and insights including but not limited to weekly organization-wide sales performance reports, monthly and quarterly business review analyses, and ad hoc analyses that drive ongoing strategy
  • General Account Maintenance including: New Item setup, Invoicing and Finance account support (e.g., pricing, invoicing, AR/AP, trade management)The ideal candidate for this high-visibility position will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable managing through changes to both internal & external strategies/deliverables. Success in this role requires being extremely organized & proactive, the ability to demonstrate the development and execution of an agenda, past experience working with and influencing a customer, strong analytic skills, and the ability to form new insights to drive PepsiCos business & influence the overall channel strategy. The candidate must have the capacity to quickly learn the business and stretch through different cross-functional competencies including (supply chain/operations, marketing, finance, commercial).
    Qualifications/Requirements
    4+ years sales and/or eCommerce experience
  • College degree (BS/BA minimum)
  • Proven success with cross functional teams, project coordination and relentless execution & follow upCompetencies required for the position include:
  • Customer Account Ownership as evidenced by the ability to understand key PepsiCo selling with insights strategies to execute annual growth targets
  • Strategic mindset as evidenced by the ability to leverage key learnings to influence and support the development of a broader eConvenience strategy
  • Cross-functional literacy as evidenced by the ability to work with support functions such as Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities as evidenced by a track record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
  • Instinct for executionas evidenced by strong organizational skills, prompt follow-up, and focus on task completion
  • Ability to understand multiple customer go-to-market strategies as evidenced by the ability to shift strategies and solutions as required
  • Strong analytical skills as evidenced by high intelligence and previous ownership of comprehensive analytical tasks and projects including advanced excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Sound communication skills as evidenced by the ability to educate and influence internal and external teams
  • Resilience as evidenced by the courage maintain a positive attitude when faced with obstacles and the willingness to develop alternative approaches to overcome them
  • Bias for action as evidenced by a track record of taking decisions in to drive the interests of the business while still maintaining highest levels of rigor and compliance of the PepsiCo Way
