Come be a part of the development of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense \(THAAD\) Launch and Test Support Equipment software within the Weapons System Engineering, Integration, and Test component\. Candidate should have an understanding of communications and control software and software development practices\. The candidate must coordinate with other team members to ensure a successful implementation of the software\. The candidate must ensure adherence to master plans and schedules\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

\-\-Experience writing software in a major software language \(C\+\+, Java, etc\.\)

\-\-Good understanding of software development practices and software process \(Design, Code, Test\)

\-\-Generation of system and support documentation

\-\-Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both written and oral

**Desired Skills:**

\-\-Experience with C\+\+ and Visual Studio \(or similar IDE\)

\-\-Experience with source repositories \(e\.g\., Gitlab\)

\-\-Experience with Jira

\-\-Experience developing in a Windows 10 environment

\-\-Familiarity with Agile Software Development process
