Continuous Improvement and lean tool intern focused on integrated supply chain value stream mapping and lean material flow. Prepares macro plans, supports kaizens, develops current and future state integrated supply chain value stream maps, establishes best practice visual controls, drives AIM progression and drives lean culture.

Insert a list of job responsibilities of the role: Supports the Continuous Improvement leader through summer intern projects focused on material flow & linkage, PFEP and Data analytics.

  • Supports the creation of the annual site materials macro plan and aligns with the site, supply chain and program macro plans on an integrated plan.
  • Supports the preparation of annual APICS, CLDT , Lean Boot Camp and Materials Boot Cap training plans
  • Responsible for the system traceability in regards delivery, assembly or distribution of material to support production
  • Actively involved in resolving material problems ( RTPR, Dives, tiered accountability).
  • Establishes best in class visual controls and 5S across the integrated supply chain.
  • Implement lean material flow across the factory.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implements corrective action
  • Demonstrate the use of key business process and functional concepts necessary to build org capability and drive AIM progression.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.__
